TTSA publishes the starch producers’ reference price, TTTA a trade association band, and OAE a government wholesale survey. The three series are not expected to match.

The farm-gate average rose 0.33% week on week, as stated by OAE itself. The 3-9 Aug edition remained the newest published publicly when this page was compiled.

No association publishes district-level prices for the North or Central regions, so readers there should work from levels 1 and 2.

The Vietnam comparison

The Vietnam Cassava Association published its table dated 24 Aug 2026, quoting FOB Bangkok at 705 USD/MT - matching the TTSA figure, which cross-confirms both.

Vietnamese fresh roots trade in dong per degree of starch. Converted at the 30% basis for comparison with Thailand:

Reference rate 1 THB is approximately 796.77 VND (25 Aug 2026). Against Korat at 3.60-4.80 THB/kg on the same basis, Vietnamese roots remain more expensive in every area with a published price.

The Vietnamese association also reported that Tay Ninh plants have changed how they sell: instead of signing contracts and then producing against them, they now take orders only once a certain volume is already in the warehouse.
